Learn, Share, Connect

Our social communication groups create opportunities for children to connect, communicate, and build relationships through play. Led by pediatric speech-language professionals, these groups encourage the development of communication skills, social interaction, turn-taking, shared play, and self-expression in a fun, supportive environment. Through engaging activities and meaningful interactions, children can practice navigating social situations, building confidence, and connecting with others in ways that feel natural to them. Every child communicates differently, and we celebrate all forms of communication while helping each child find their own way to connect.

A New Theme, Without the Pressure to Keep Up!

Our classes follow rotating themes, with each four-week series focusing on the same core skills and developmental goals through playful, engaging activities. This means you can join for a single drop-in class or purchase a class pack and attend when it works for your family - no pressure to attend every week and no feeling like you've missed out! While activities may vary from class to class, each session is designed to stand on its own, so every Birdie can jump right in and enjoy the fun.

Birdie Buddies

Ages 2-6

Making friends, sharing moments, and learning to connect! Birdie Buddies is a playful, therapist-led group designed to support children's social communication through interactive games, imaginative play, stories, and shared activities. Children have opportunities to practice taking turns, expressing their wants and needs, navigating play with others, and building early friendship skills in a welcoming, supportive environment. Whether your child communicates with words, gestures, AAC, or a combination of methods, we celebrate every child's unique way of connecting and create space for everyone to participate, learn, and belong.
